Kudos to Rene. Most folks will remember his as the sneakey staff member on Benson or as the station Inspector on Star Trek's Deep Space Nine, but I also remember Rene's bit roles in early 1970s Rod Serling's Night Gallery. Rene was on two episodes iirc.
I know Rene has done other tv and film work, but the three I mentioned are ones I remember off hand.

No problem if wanting to delete thread.
Nothing really, other than being surprised that Rene is also against the sob. I had thought he was on conservative side (Reagan and former CA Gov Deukmaijian supporter iirc) many years earlier, but either I was not correct or maybe he changed.

His point: it turns out "Odo" from ST:DS9 is actually a liberal and retweeted the image in the original post in this thread. IDK, I don't find it terribly surprising that an actor might be a liberal, but maybe that's me.

I know I should have mentioned my reason in original post. My bad. :-)
I was surprised when seeing Rene's tweets. I was convinced he was a conservative...especially from his acting roles where he would play a banker in one of the episodes on 1970s era Night Gallery. But also his role as a staff member on Benson in which Rene's character was an old guard style GOP politician (unlike today's GOP which are tea party crazies).

Heh. You remember the character's name. I forgot the name myself. I rarely watched the series after the second season. It had its moments, but it couldn't match TNG or even Voyager's quality. Voyager started weak at first, but by season 3 it got better imo.

Someone else was certain that Rene was conservative and I was going with that along with previous characters that Rene played (Night Gallery and Benson). imo of these current times it's probably 80% liberal, 15% libertarian, and 5% conservative.
