The Crazy Train Fundraisers continue. So far we got:
-Virtua Fighter Model 1 chips for decapping -huge load of CPS1 hardware sent to Phil B. to improve the emulation -Atari prototype Cyber Storm dumped and waiting on a mamedev/emulation -Taikyoku Baseball, Battlecry prototype, Battlecry Rev C and Japan Capcom Bowling dumped -upcoming PGM2 emulation progress and new PGM2 dump -Teki Paki development board dumped -In Your Face prototype basketball game dumped -Quick Pick 5 Konami board purchased
We need $200 to help ShouTime cover the cost of an insanely rare baseball game called New Moero Pro Baseball Homerun Derby. We do have the original Moero Pro Baseball Homerun Derby dumped already but this "New" upgraded version is needed and is very very rare. Please click below if you would like to help us toward it and put "Homerun Derby" in the paypal notes. Thank you.

The owner of the "suddendesu" site, which focuses on finding hidden stuff in classic arcade games, has already sent over a few bucks. Don't know how much, and I don't want to ask because it would be impolite, but ShouTime can fill you in either way.

OK thanks again. There's a varying delay on when he gets donations and I hear about it for a post update but cool.

That dump is incomplete, btw, NEC D7756C ADPCM samples chip still needs to be decapped.

I'll look into it but it might have to come from a different pcb if it's something shared between versions and we can get an old ver for cheaper. I haven't heard anything about sacrificing the pcb, don't know if that's an option on this one.

2 chips were secured once for 'Dr Decapitator' (#97 and #98), but are marked as 'possibly lost' since then. Those (NEC µPD7755C/µPD7756C) were used in a few arcade games, a few Famicom games and a few MSX games (baseball games by Jaleco and Sony) and it seems not all of them have the same samples pack (so it's probably not enough to dump only 1 chip from any of them). And there's also 1 more Famicom game that uses Mitsubishi M50805 instead.
Though, it's probably not needed to sacrifice ALL of them, just listening/comparing the samples should be enough to find out the different ones.

I have no idea of the amount contributed, but every bit helps. The donation will most likely be under the name Neil Moore, but he'd prefer to be credited as his Twitter handle, ccie10044.
