This game is DEFINITELY not an obscure. Castlevania: Rondo of Blood is a very well known game - The best game on system (PCE).

I'm late to the party, but I absolutely have to concur. Rondo may have been obscure in the early 90s, but word started to spread rapidly after SotN came out. It's still one of the more expensive discs, but multiple rereleases (PSP, Wii/Wii U) have brought it down from $450

There's also a demo version, which is even more expensive than that.
