Weren't these floating around for a few months already? HCKJ_A01_20080116.ISO and HCKJA02_20080217.ISO to HCKJA05_20080217.ISO.

I've no idea. There's nothing marked on the undumped wiki. In 2017 if there are still people dumping arcade games and not sharing them with mame I would say that's highly offensive.

it's happening more than it's ever happened in the past, especially with the modern platforms.

a lot of stuff is bypassing MAME entirely and going to the people who make hacked images, closed source loaders for the current platforms.

the problem is people don't *want* these in their MAME collections because the MAME versions don't work..

There are dozens of PC-based arcades that were simply dumped by their owners and publicly shared in hopes someone knows how to crack them, either encrypted HDD images (sometimes also with the dongles dumps, sometimes not) or the CD/DVD recovery sets (which are often quite cheap, like those by Raw Thrills). There are also new CUBO CD32 images dumped for WinUAE, publicly shared and floating around since September, also outside of MAME.

Please take the initiative and submit links for it all to the official mame submission link so we can put it behind us
