So how will networked games work

I was Just thinking about how with japan's arcade scene being dependent on networks how mame plans to emu this games as many have shut down and replaced.

They don't download to RAM after each coin insert. They download in advance to hard drive. So we dump the hard drive. You have to have inside connections but that doesn't appear to be a problem.
