I-pac not recognized by MacOS Sierra

Hi everyone,

I have a 5 year old i-pac4 that I used to use on a windows machine. The windows machine took a crap and now I am trying to hook my system up to my Macbook pro so my kids can play.

BUT the i-pac is not getting recognized by the i-pac utility. The MacIPAC utility says "No I-PAC found. Please plug in an I-pac device."

Is there some other step that I need to do to get the Mac to "see" the i-pac?

Just another note, the i-pac is showing it has power (green light is on)

Ok! I got the ipac4 to be seen by OSX BUT now when I open the MacIPAC utility and try and identify my iPac, the iPac4 version is grayed out and unselectable. Anyone encounter this before?
