Tweet by CNN Reporter quoting source: "It was common knowledge that Roy dated high school girls...."
Fmr Dep. DA Theresa Jones, who worked alongside Roy Moore
tells CNN: “It was common knowledge that Roy dated high school girls, everyone we knew thought it was weird...We wondered why someone his age would hang out at high school football games and the mall..." -
As explained elsewhere "He wanted to insure his wife was a pure virgin...." The AL judge, when as an Assistant DA, during his earlier years was looking for a mate that wasn't touched yet by any other male. His extreme religious views having a greater say compared to legal logic thinking that he was supposed to have learned when attending law school. I guess he didn't learn.
Nobody here likes the current DNC. I'm not sure what you're arguing, like it's still some RNC vs. DNC thing, when in reality everybody knows they are both full of shit. Anyway you sound dumb when you counter an anti-GOP thing here with "oh yeah the Dems are so much better" garbage, when nobody here is "spreading the Clinton gospel" or whatever.
Congrats to Jeff Lynne and remaining (still alive) members of ELO for getting into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year (2017).
Revising this post again after recent events.
Roy Moore's election chances of being an AL US Senator now gone...unless last minute stunts are pulled. Margin is too big to get away with stunts without being obvious. Thankfully many more of the AL voters knew better and voted for Jones.
Maybe Jones is so-so candidate compared to other AL Democratic candidates, but compared to Moore....Jones is a far better candidate.
*A specific update to the photo in the high school yearbook*
Beverly Young-Nelson admitted that she herself had added a bit of info after Moore's signature.
- Love, Roy Moore, -
The following text seen in yearbook photo was written by Beverly
- "D.A. 12-22-77 Olde Hickory House" -
What supposedly happened is Beverly Young-Nelson didn't admit that info to attorney Gloria Allred because Gloria Allred had probably mistakenly assumed all the words and numbers were written by Moore when Moore was signing the yearbook back in 1970s.
Gloria probably did not do her part of vetting/interrogating the accuser about the info contents written to the yearbook. This is another unfortunate example with Gloria Allred making matters worse for both victim and herself and shooting her own credibility. That was why Moore voters and Moore were accusing Beverly Young-Nelson's yearbook as being fraudulent evidence over last couple weeks.
imo if clients are looking for legal help, maybe start elsewhere and don't deal with Gloria Allred and her daughter Lisa Bloom (also an attorney).
It's weird that it usually seems the person leaking stuff is timing it to keep the peace. If this would have come out after he's in office it would be a missile hitting the bigger GOP ship instead of Moore. Same thing when the news about Bernie getting cheated came out right before the DNC convention in summer 2016. If it would have come out afterwards, after Bernie had given his thumbs up before the info came out, it would have meant the DNC burned to ash.
>It's weird that it usually seems the person leaking stuff is timing it to keep the peace.
I will say the timing that others willing to step forth and say things first is what might bring out the other victims that have more substantial evidence. What today's accuser or victim (depending on one's view) probably wouldn't have happened without the others speaking out last week. Granted it is still a 'he said versus she said', but there is now actual evidence proving that Moore can no longer claim "I didn't know that person". That option is gone.
I would like to believe his chances [gone] as well, but it depends on mindset of the voters in Alabama come next month when election is supposed to take place.
>Same thing when the news about Bernie getting cheated came out right before the DNC >convention in summer 2016.
I voted for Bernie, but figured the Democratic chairperson Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was going to pull strings to cheat Bernie [she did imo]. I was then tempted to cast a vote for Stein, but after seeing photos of Stein seated at a table with Flynn and some of Putin's associates at supposedly a [Russia Today hosted event iirc], in September or October 2016, I then changed to voting for Clinton.
Fortunate that the Democratic party now has Tom Perez in charge even though some folks prefered Keith Ellison. I would have liked it if Howard Dean could have been able to lead again, but it didn't turn out that way.
Sometimes the General Election gets turkey candidates (both major parties) and that is what happened last year. McGovern versus Nixon (1972) was another imo even though some felt McGovern was an ideal candidate.
Carter was worth voting for, but I was too young to vote at the time. Mondale (so-so) and same with Dukakis. I had concerns with B. Clinton even though I voted for him.
