ServoStick tension

I have my ServoStick up and running great. I really enjoy the convenience of switching between 4 and 8 way automatically.

I was wondering if there is a way to 'tighten' up the tension? Meaning the force required to push in any direction. Hope I'm explaining that right. I'm very new to controls so I don't know the lingo.
