The stupid thing is, it's not even a first-amendment issue. ESPN isn't a government body and is not bound by the first amendment.
I might not particularly like Trump, but dragging politics into a sportscasting job, on the air, sounds like something that would get someone fired regardless of what political party they're criticizing. Politics and sports are two great tastes that just don't go together.
LOL. They can't contradict him because they're too focused on that.
In order to weigh in on the actual firing, I'd need to look at their history. Who else has made political remarks on ESPN, and who's been fired for it?
If there's bias in that list, then ESPN is putting politics in our sports, which is a bad thing.
Many people in the white house are saying that any American citizen who calls the president a racist should lose their job. I hope they stick to their guns.
