#368471 - 08/01/17 12:17 PM

Hi!

I have a JPAC. It was worked ok.

I dismount the floor of my arcade machine because de wood was broken.

I mounted all again but the next buttons don't work:
Player 1 start.
Button 1 Player 1
Button 1 Player 2.
I tested with WinIPAC. I programmed the JPAC twice and they don't work.

My frontend is MALA when i move the joystick up or down the list of the games move three games (when the move is 1 game)

help! please.

Sorry for my english (i'm spanish)

Thank you.

I assume that all the other buttons work as they should?

Do the non-working keys work correctly when you plug a keyboard into your PC & press them on it?

If yes then re-check the wiring & especially the grounds to those buttons that no longer work.

That's my best guess with the tad of information you provided.

Hi, thanks for your soon answer.

The buttons worked ok before.

When i connect a keyboard, it's works correctly but the buttons: player one start, player one button 1 and player two button 1 don't work.

The wires are ok.

Did you test the connections to the buttons with a multi-meter?
or:
Try just shorting them out by hand to see if it registers that way?
or:
Unplug those buttons & swap them with a couple of the 1s that do work...(Conversely you can plug some wires for a working switch to them & see if they work that way)

Usually something like this comes down to a wiring issue-mostly a lose ground somewhere(especially when things have been moved around). If not, I'm not sure what else it could be other than a hardware issue.

Other than that, maybe someone else has another idea that I'm over-looking...

Hi.

Yes, i tested all wires and they are ok.

I bought another JPAC and ALL BUTTONS WORKS CORRECTLY.

The problem was JPAC circuit.

Can i program with a new firmware? The old JPAC was from 2012. I hope i can put on again.

Thanks

Good that you got it working, sort of...LOL

As far as I know, there shouldn't be any reason why you can't upgrade it. A newer one should have the new version on it already though.

Glad it worked out, have fun!
