...so I know my *$%&ing WiFi is able to connect to the internet.
My PC is wired into my router.
The PC can see the local network.
It is currently detecting an internet connection.
It refuses to actually connect to anything.
How many times do I need to restart it?

Redo the password and you might have to all caps it.
If that doesn't work stick your dick in it and fuck it and electrocute your balls.

I am now posting this via PC, but through a free VPN (Windscribe) with limited bandwidth. It connects without issue.
If I turn off the Windscribe client, I lose access.

Found the DNS settings. It seems the ones the VPN had recommended stopped working, and their setup no longer was saying anything about it.
After trying solutions from several sites that were more complex and didn't fix it, this site https://helpdesk.privateinternetaccess.c...switch-Windows- solved the problem. I knew it was in there somewhere, but didn't want to change the wrong thing.
