And now your moment of impatient Netflix reviews from Mr. Impatient
#368140 - 07/24/17 05:05 AM

The Killing: First 2 seasons are 1 story and a really good murder mystery. Skip seasons 3 and 4, story just drops off, they should have taken time off to make sure they could come up with another story on par with the first.

Between: Way too slow of progression/pace. Maybe if it was double the story pace I could have gotten past episode 3. Pass unless you are a slug.

Haven: The story had potential (Stephen King book based) and cinematography is good but some stories end up so much on the cheap (all the money went to the cinematography?) and half assed, and the acting is so far off in some parts it's like someone could be getting choked to death and not make any change to the look in their eye. You gotta do better than that, hard pass.

Dexter: This is actually really good and probably not what you think if you haven't given it a chance. There was one season where he befriends a guy and starts mentoring him that was sub par but overall, it's actually really good.

Friends From College: I laughed my ass off. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a shit score. They are humorless sons of whores who need their mouths fucked by an armadillo.

Gotham: Good show by DC finally, give it a chance.

The 100: Not saying it's the best post apocalyptic series ever but I enjoyed it enough to see all the eps so far, and it was good enough to spawn clone series, try it out and see if you like it.

Sense8: Had potential but more concerned with throwing gay and trans in your face than it was with an actual story. That's why it got canceled. Pass.

13 Reasons Why: Worth watching I guess but kind of lame. None of the "reasons" make any sense why this hot ass bitch would seriously consider offing herself. Not realistic.

Travelers: I actually kind of dig it. Pretty fun scifi?

Dark Matter: A Star Trek ripoff yes but I still am really enjoying it. I think there is a 3rd season but it's not on Netflix yet.

Maybe I'll add more later.

I agree that Travelers was really fun. The season 1 cliffhanger was kind of harsh though.

Dark Matter is really good too. I've been downloading season 3 episodes (via eztv) as they air. Episode 8 (out of 13 in season 3) just aired on Friday night.

The 100 is on my to-do list. I really need to set aside some time for it.

Have you watched "The OA" yet? I highly recommend it. I saw lots of complaints about the ending being vague, but I think that was the point. You're not supposed to be sure. If it never gets a second season, I'm totally fine with how it ended.

There's a Netflix Original movie called "ARQ" that was pretty decent if you like sci-fi. You should check it out.

If you have Amazon Prime, check out "Orphan Black". Fucking amazing. The main actress, Tatiana Maslany, plays like 11+ different people.

I have seen the OA and Arq and liked both, those and lots of others I should add into the list. I am one of the few Americans who doesn't have Amazon Prime. Not really a fan of Amazon these days or Jeff Bezos. He's a piece of shit.
