Anyone notice strange display glitches when showing diagonals? Here is Little Professor display when non Unicode is set to Japanese. Below is when set to English (United States).
I though it only affected the UI when for example is was playing a tape. But then I noticed the UI doesn't displays diagonals anymore.
Before:
'|' '/' '-' '¥'
Now:
'|' '□' '-' '□'

That's a crappy layout trying to use characters for LCD segments. It should really be using a 14-segment or 16-segment LED element as appropriate.
