Reading the post there is one old one talking Rampart and does not have all the necessary information. Somehow the game does not allow you to finish. When you get to the later levels in the game looks Florida maps both left and right maps the game will crash, lock up when select any castle but one. If you pick wrong castle any one of them but one game is over. You can pick the right map then select right bottom castle and game will continue but both top castles can not be selected during game play. It appears the map is not correct as to the level played. If you can get past this area the final map with two castles select top or bottom castle the game will crash/freeze up. The game can not be completed too bad it was a fun game to play back in the day in the arcade. I hope some one can go in to the map section and fix the final maps. I have played this game a hundred times got various versions and they are all broken. Tired a bunch of mame versions same result. This is my first post and I used to play games for a living back in the day so if a programmer out there can look into this, fix it or maybe no one cares for it was not a hit. thanks for you time ace

MAME version?
have you used save states, cheats, hiscore saving, anything like that which could break it?
We've had this reported before, but then other people say it's fine once they turned off hiscore saving and cheats..
And it appears the long standing Rampart (specific Atari slapstic protection issue) has been resolved.....hopefully. Congrats to both for their efforts.
it is as if folks were having same effect as Sonny Drysdale's (actor Louis Nye) useless karate chops on slapstic with slapstic protection just standing there not affected whatsoever until OG finally got in the knock out punch.

The modular cymbal stand is the only Yamaha musical related product I have. It doesn't output any notes, but did a great job holding 3 or on rare occasion 4 cymbals at once (when outfitted with multiple clamps) along with various percussion equipment when used back in mid 1990s.
