Ultra Tank (Kee Games, 1978)
#366414 - 05/30/17 02:39 PM

Here's some recorded footage of Ultra Tank from the actual arcade game. First time seen on the Internet. Enjoy.

This was the last official Kee Games release, and the last in the arcade Tank series. The game didn't really add much besides a one-player mode with weak AI (aka Robot) and selectable options: no barriers, bounce bullets vs guided missiles, invisible tanks.

the video would be 100x better without the really shitty presentation effects..

the shitty presentation part of the video had parts of the cabinet I hadn't seen before, so much appreciated.

pong... any chance to get picks of the control panel?

RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.

well as explained in a PM, to me it looked more like the intro video for a stage on Need for Speed or something, it was actually difficult to work out what the PCB was doing, the effects actually make the PCB look broken, flipping from one thing to another etc.

I am impressed, and happy that a working copy has been found but I'm always going to advocate a cleaner, more professional approach to presenting such things, showing each element in detail for extended periods of time; instead I was getting flashbacks to the most recent episode of Better Call Saul ;-)
