yeah, those EPOS games don't show up very often, and quite often when they do the roms have already gone bad, or they end up with somebody who can't dump the PROM.

I guess this will replace the bad dump of 'Revenger' that's in MAME (unless it's found that the bad dump is of a different revision, in which case it will remain to document there is still a version missing)

Awright. Kudos to Andy with this and the (bootleg?) SI clone.

I forgot that this was added a long time ago. I see what Haze mentioned about the old entry. This is good that Andy was able to find a pcb.

Lucked out with Andy finding a pcb since he is good at getting the roms and proms preserved.

Yep. Someone will need to find some way of comparing data if even possible to see if there could be any difference within the dumped roms. I am going to guess not possible and what Andy is able to get dumped will be the replacement rom set. Fortunately the roms in pcb photo have labels so it can be identified to a specific set in case multiple versions did exist.

I forgot about this being added years earlier. If another set gets added later by someone, I hope the brief pcb info is still retained in the src/mame/drivers/epos.cpp file for reference.

Sometime later, I hope an entry for Taito Space Cyclone will show up on your web page
https://mamedev.emulab.it/haze/ Good to know Space Cyclone is working even if it still has more work to be done later.

We actually found the new ROM set archived on an old website on archive.org by following some old links. It seems to be booting up and displaying the title screen at least. I'm not sure how thoroughly the dump has been checked. To correct KLOV: It doesn't appear to be an official Taito game, merely a mod/bootleg by someone who ran an arcade route operation.

Hah. That is funny. First or second time this has happened iirc.

This info needs to be added next to the rom set info on the 8080bw.cpp file imo just in case future users wonder where the heck this romset came from because in the future I can't imagine folks will know where this romset came from or how it came about.

Well it's conjecture at this point but I'm basing it off of:
http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=13739
https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=137410

and the fact that the game name never appeared in Taito's 1978 Japanese game list this guy compiled (amongst many other games and companies). (Er, I think)
https://archive.org/details/ArcadeTVGameListKokunai-KaigaiHen1971-2005

I could maybe still be wrong, but my gut feeling is saying this is all a big misunderstanding on the English-speaking side of things due to an old bootleg/title screen hack.

What I got so far is here: https://mamedev.emulab.it/undumped/index.php?title=Space_Wipeout

This is by far the single cleanest, most well preserved old game I have EVER seen posted in this forum.

What. A. Find.

Preliminary screenshot for those paying attention to this:

More or less matches the screenshots on KLOV Forums.
