I think I've figured out Trump's formula for getting away with anything

It's constantly being 1 inch away from impeachment or losing or jail time or whatever, being there every second. As long as you're always 1 inch from it for long enough, it turns into "what would you have to do to take it the last inch"? The answer is nobody knows. He can get away with anything basically because whatever it is is going to be compared to his last shitstorms "is this really worse than grabbing pussies and trying to bang married women or having Russia ties or not releasing tax returns or whatever"? So instead of being compared to decent people he's just compared to himself of 5 minutes ago.

yeah, you see the same in a lot of relationships too.. there must be psychological reasons but it's one of those things we're quick to accept and makes for an easy platform to abuse people.
he's not stupid, it's all a very clear plan / way of abusing and manipulating people, he's especially good at it, appearing to be stupid helps that.
