DU Tiny Fundraiser: Weirdo Sega and Konami boards
#364558 - 03/22/17 11:07 PM

Sorry that the last fundraiser dump is not released yet but Shoutime's programmer that can do the bproms is broken and he hasn't sorted his equipment out. I need help with some inexpensive weirdo boards that go to, I'm guessing, odd stuff like mechanical games. It could be for some of them that all we can do is emulate the sound, but we're talking Konami and Sega so at least to me and some others, still interesting. If I get donations I'll personally hound Belmont for a new M1 including them until he caves in or loses his sanity so how can you lose? I've already bought one of them and Charles has bought one and trap15 got an NMK one. The seller isn't responding to requests for combined shipping (he might not even understand what I'm asking) and I'd rather just gobble them all up quickly before anyone else gets them so if this sounds interesting click below.

Update: At this point we have another Sega one picked up by someone who is MAME and DU friendly and thanks to Surgeville and Paul Vining I picked up a Konami one.

Is there any video of Space Cyclone being played off the original board? I'm curious to see it in action.

One of the boards is some game running on Sega M1 hardware like Caribbean Boule. I think this is a satellite board (for 1 player). It had a couple of surface mount chips removed for fixing another game but those aren't needed/dumpable for emulation so it doesn't matter.

The second is a Konami game. I have a guess on what it might be but we'll wait and see.

The Konami board looks to be a satellite board for...

Sega gambler programmers were passive aggressive until you hack into their code at which point they were plain aggressive new [Re: Smitdogg]

Oh wow great thank you for reminding me. If your stupid Shen Zhen bootlegging ass hadn't reminded me then I would have totally forgotten about having paid $6,200 for it. Oops, I meant to say, go fuck your mother. Cumming soon.
