xain'd sleena bug?

All the insect enemies (the major part of the second planet enemies) are now missing in mame 0.182 (the default exe from mamedev.net) in the second planet, called lagto soa. The same thing happens in the clone Astro Warrior (except here the planet is called venus). Also there are missing graphics in the base at the end of the stage.
Anyone confirm?

Possible timing issue in MCU? There are some more MCU changes for 0.183, so if you could retest after the release and open an MT if it's still broken we'd appreciate.
