Do you like coconut?
#361692 - 12/24/16 04:22 AM

I love coconut - except when it's been oxidized, wherein it has this Crisco-y, rancid-like flavour. All coconut oil I've had has been like this.

My mom doesn't like it at all, though.

Do you? And those who don't, why? What is your experience, your sensation, of it?

I've bought a thing of organic coconut oil once. For the purposes of making an alternative to fluoride toothpaste. It cost something like $12.00. Then, I bought a larger container of coconut oil from Wal-Mart... I think it's like you described. "Rancid" odor/flavor. The organic oil just smells like coconut, not something 'strange'. The organic coconut oil container was half the size of the other one, and the larger one was about the size of a jar of miracle-whip.

Eh, just coconut in general? Or coconut oil? I haven't had any fresh coconut in... I don't know how long. So, I can't really relay and "experience"...

Hey! No. I haven't used it as a sensual aide, if that's what you're implying....

Not yet, at least.

Hmmmm, your explanation reminds me of a coconut oil my friend used that I think didn't smell funky. Eventually it did because it got exposed to heat being outside.

The Wal oil was probably too old, or/and over-processed, but even organic ones I've tried have seemed rancid, so....

Yeah I'm curious what people experience in their mouth and tastebuds, particularly those who don't like it.

Sensual aid. Hah. Back in the 90s I tried olive oil as a lube, and my girlfriend was okay with it, but I didn't like. It coagulates with friction after not very long. And washing it out is a chore. I grew up around massage, and know that if you don't use A LOT of detergent, linen will hold onto the oil, which of course further spoils, and builds up crazy over time of continuous massage use, and smells blechh. Plus, it might draw bugs.

A few years ago I was at an adult store to get some lube, and the girl was super hot on silicone lube. She said it was more slicker, didn't break down, and didn't dry when exposed to air. The first thing I said was, 'well, it's silicone, isn't that toxic?....you know, like breast implants?....and do you really want that in your body?', and she got flustered, and didn't really know how to answer, but was persistent in it being a great lube.

I'd tried it in the 90s. I told her I didn't like it because it didn't really wash off, you had to wear it off. And I didn't like the texture. Feels like little very fine beads, which of course it is.

My favorite is ID Glide. Water-based, so easy to wash off, and it's consumable. Of course, if the ho is right hot, and hence all wet (you can use that for the back, too, you know), you don't need no lube, so mostly I use it for jacking.

Can't say I've *knowingly* had much experience with coconut oil. Coconut water is ok. I like the flavor of coconut. Although... in Chinese restaurants in Japan, there is a desert called almond tofu (Annin tofu) that blows coconut out of the water while having a somewhat similar taste.

I can't stand coconut meat though. Whether natural or artificial, the shredded coconut stuff feels like chewing on plastic. That sensation fucks with my head even eating the meat directly from a coconut.

I LOVE coconut, I grew up eating it with hot sauce, powdered chile, lemon and salt as a snack:

But I just don't like coconut water. I can't stand it straight from the coconut.

A healthy food source, and ultra anti-pathogenic.

I thought that was milk, and water meant it was watered down, but I guess not. I remember straight from the coconut being thicker than what I've had in a can (just a taste from my friend's, as he loves it, but I'd rather it be milk).

Hmmm. No bean curd in it.... I like almond milk.

Curious. Like chewing on a straw?
