No, it's Ingvild Deila. Well, her, and CG on top of that. So it was CG after all, plus and minus, it seems.

Same as Tarkin. It's an actor with some really awful CG on top of his face.
I didn't know they would have Peter Cushing's character in the movie - I went in blind - but seeing him on the screen brought a big smile on my face. And then I was scared because that was some really shitty skin rendering. Seriously, Square did it better FIFTEEN YEARS AGO.
Tarkin's body language also felt REALLY off. They should've let the animators spend more time looking that over.

Honestly, it was pretty good. It was most obvious to me when he talked, they still don't have the facial movements quite right. Still, it was good enough that it wasn't distracting.
For Tarkin, though, they should have just re-cast. Charles Dance could have killed it in that role. Leia's tougher, since she's so iconic. Still, I think a lookalike with some makeup would have worked better than going the CGI route.
