Removing Crosshairs on Mame

I recently purchased an Aimtrack lightgun. I installed it, and everything works great. The only issue that I have is that on many of the gun games, there is a permanent crosshair on the screen (dead center) from what I am assuming is the crosshair for player two. I like the crosshairs for aiming, but I only have one gun, not two. Is there a way to remove the crosshairs just for player two? Thanks....

Can you TAB during the game and go into 'Crosshair Options' and configure?

I reported a week ago that the 64 bit version of 179 is not tracking Aimtrack guns correctly.

Switched to 32 bit version and the guns work okay. Since then, my ticket was closed.
