Cursor not appearing in touch screen based systems like tiger.com etc

just tried mameui64 0.179, it appears that in many touch screen based systems like tiger.com and others,there is no cursor\crosshair,so its not possible to see what i'm clicking
any help?

tried both of those.no avail.in fullscreen mode,with menu option,there's not even the mouse cursor.
in window mode i have the normal, windows mouse cursor but it doesn't do anything
the other are palm pilot pro and personal.on the personal one sometimes it appears,(the classic blue mame crosshair),sometimes it doesn't

gridmode did the trick,thanks.strange that it wasn't set by default.
i'll post the bug as well
