enough when I was a teen that I special ordered singles of the Slade originals, as well as another cover of Mama Weer All Crazee Now from a band called Mama's Boys.

Nice. Just listened to it- great song.
I just remembered another Slade song I really enjoy:
I wasn't really into this song when it was 80s-released, but I have to say the original blues do-do-do da do sounds gay as fuck. Course, if you was ta re-do it in a....modern....style, it would need screamo vocals, at least.....
> The vocals are the last thing I'd change. The energy is better than anything. Do I want to know which bands you like?
I meant the guitar/bass part in the original. Dooorky. And trite. The vocals are the same (nearly). I was making a joke about the modern version - re: kiddie metal.

"Trite?" Do you mean it was overused 40 years ago, or are you saying it was so good that people have been mimicking it for the past 40 years?
I don't like it very much, compared to the '80s version which I didn't care for either. I could stand to hear fewer voices in the chorus.

Something is unique or it isn't. Depending on the demographic, my preferences are rare to extremely rare. (My relish of, and hence skill in servicing, the booty transcends even the most tantric black man.) It wasn't Classic, it just used Classic Rock chords. I think the lyrics and vocal line were ahead of their time. Totally better as an 80s heavy metal tune. That's my point, there.

Overused, and people are inherently backward that they've been stuck on it. It doesn't fit the vocal line; it's fill at best.
Is that the British "unvoiced R" in the tag line there? "I'm mee, I'm now, an' that's orl?" Last time I saw something like that and asked about it, I was told the "R" was there because you don't pronounce it.
I'm guessing it's trying to be "all," but that doesn't even much much sense as a declaration.

Hehn-hehn-hehn-hehn...yeah, I dunno. Freakin Brits..... Some do speak clearly, though.
