What happened to the good dump of Number Crash? According to a webpage, the new dump makes the game playable, and was made back in June.

To my knowledge MAMEDEV was not forwarded nor sent any redump for that game, despite any claims.

Guru has the redump since 19th June 2016 and he claim that the game is working in MAME.
Question :
- Is Guru still in the MAME team ?

No.
The opposite, he's working against it until he gets re-added on his terms (which will be never) hence his little counter of things he's hoarding next to various updates.
There are also countless members of the public (including other major contributors) with stories about how he has ripped them off.
Just because he posts the odd update 'working with Developer X' doesn't change the situation, he is hostile to the project / team.
Nobody should be sending anything to Guru. It might have been possible to give him the benefit of the doubt before, but his recent behaviour, clearly showing that he only cares about himself, not preservation, the bigger picture or anybody else all but confirms the complaints people were making.

Anyway, regarding the redump of Number Crash someone should contact Kuro-san and ask him to resend the new dump to MAME team.
