You should make eye contact with people when addressing them.
So what do you do with a googly eye?
Oh my Glob!
I'm making eye contact. Is this right? It's googly. Do I look away, or is THAT wierd. I'm staring at their disability, but I'm looking them in the eye. Do I look like I'm staring at it, or making eye contact? Holy shit! I'm sweating now. Do I look like I'm forcing eye contact, or fixated on the googly eye. Oh my Glob. Can they tell which eye I'm looking at? Which eye do I look at? If you're supposed to make eye contact, which eye? Do I favor one eye over another for eye contact with other people? What if I stare at the bridge of the nose between their eyes, or is that worse? Fake like your blind FAKE LIKE YOUR BLIND!

It's almost as bad as getting caught reading a busty woman's t-shirt. I WAS READING YOUR SHIRT! Oh my Glob.
This is why I prefer to stay home and watch reruns of Rick and Morty.

H-hehn hehn hehn. I've wondered the same, while picking one eye, then the other. In general I've realized people are more comfortable if you look them in the face - sort of looking at the bridge of their nose, but about two inches back from it.

Dont worry about it. We are not looking you in the eye either. We cant tell we have no depth perception 
If you are worried about it, one eye is dominant. Its the one that isnt looking off to the side.
