MameUI64 Problems...Losing my mind here...

I've got a serious problem with MAME I'm using MAMEUI64 0.176 (and 0.175) on Win.10 64bit and setup my INI file using the CreateConfig.bat, then setup the INI to my liking and so far, MAME recognizes the settings, but there's one problem- It won't recognize any of my keyboard inputs, Tab, 5, etc, they don't work and I have to exit the game by hitting the Start key. My DS4 works, but I can't really do anything since the menu, coin, and start buttons aren't mapped to it. What should I do?
I've tried the most recent MAMEUIFX and it works just fine, so i'm not sure what the problem is....
Also, when I try to make changes in game/default options, it doesn't seem to respond to any changes I've made. This was in MESSUI64 and I believe MAMEUI64.

Alright, after digging around, I found the REAL ini file and made changes, and so far, it's responded to them just fine, but now I've got another weird problem with the options screen-
When I try to change controls for "Input (General)",suddenly the menu is almost completely off screen, and this happens regardless of what game I load. However, options for "Input (This machine)" is perfectly visible. What's going on? Also, how do I setup shaders per game?

Alright, regarding my keyboard inputs not working with MAME, and I think I'm getting close to the issue-
I made some changes in my nVidia control panel based on recommended settings for MAME (G-Sync user), which used to work perfectly fine before, but now, after these changes, the keyboard inputs won't respond when a game is loaded, but the joypad works perfectly fine. I don't know if it's an nVidia issue or a MAME issue....
Also DS4 - DualShock 4

Tried that, same result. It must have something to with the nVidia graphics settings. When I remove the profile from program settings. it suddenly works. Is there anyone else i can report this problem to? I dunno if this only affects this version of MAME or what.

MAME core bug, fixed after MAME 0.176.
