Any chance to see the same graphics effects like in MAMEUIFX with OPENGL and "CRT Geom HQ" shader? I tried to configure it manually with similar way to MAMEUIFX (.ini files), all necessary files copied to proper directories. It does not work or did I do something wrong?
Tnx for info, Robert

cgwg's crt-geom and crt-geom-deluxe filters were added to MAME's BGFX filters during the 0.176 cycle.
OP, what you want is now a lot easier (I think, assuming one of those filters offers identical output, it's the same filter author at any rate) and doesn't involve copying files around. You just need to switch your video output to BGFX instead of OpenGL, and enable the filter. Robbbert should be able to walk you through how you do this with MAMEUI/HBMAMEUI.
If for some reason you want to stick with OpenGL, this should work for you as well. As Robbbert says, HBMAME doesn't differ from MAME in how you configure it, and HBMAMEUI doesn't differ from MAMEUI. (MAME and MAMEUI differ by a bit tho!)

... okay... well it's not going away, shouldn't MAMEUI have feature parity? Otherwise I recommend adding what features *cannot* be configured from the MAMEUI interface to the documentation.
So in this case, OP, if there's no movement from MAMEUI to configure filters from their UI, then I recommend switching to MAME (or HBMAME) plus maybe a front-end like QMC2. Or learn to use MAME from the command prompt.
That said, OP, you should still be able to use filters with MAMEUI/HBMAMEUI, but you'll have to configure them the same as you'd configure MAME/HBMAME: from the command prompt.

I appreciate info from both of You. I'm using HBMAME, Stiletto.
Alrighty, a little bit modified presets\hbmame.ini and used modified hlsl.json from B2K24 (I hate original 'circles') and it is close to OGL :P

Man, and you must've said that three times. HBMAME, not HBMAMEUI. Got it. My apologies.

Glad you got it working
