MAME UI glitch

in the main menu, select "Configure Options" -> "Video Options". The "Video Mode" entry doesn't let me go back to "auto" after selecting another one.

I got the same problem. All I did is put the auto on the mame.ini file for reset. I think it might be a bug or they didn't add the auto on the select list.

Another MAME .176 UI glitch I've found...if you TAB and select 'Input General', the menu appears off screen.
You can set inputs for the individual game, but the general is not visible.

Unless it's been fixed, I just compiled the latest .176 build and I don't have that problem
|

I just downloaded MAME176 from Mamedev and when I touch absolutely nothing and TAB, Configure Inputs, General Inputs, User Interface (or anything in that menu) I get this...

This has been identified as an issue with the new GCC 6.1.0 based tools. If you are using tools not recently updated (GCC 5.4.0), there are a lot of currently happening bugs that are not present with that GCC.
