Hey everyone,
I'm building a MAME cabinet, and using a Raspberry PI. I have it all working, however I don't have a lot of space on the PI. I have most of the roms off of emu paradise.
I only want to keep the roms with the games themselves released between the years of the mid 70s until about 1986. This should keep the rom limit under the size I need it to be and the games I'm most interested in.
What is the easiest way to delete all the rest of the roms out of my roms directory and just keep those years I'm interested in? I've looked into Rom Center, CLRmame, etc etc and I'm having a hard time with all of them.
Is there just an easy/simple program that takes all your roms in one directory and sort them by release date of game, that will also allow me to delete the files in the same interface?

I don't know QMC2 can do that.

With MAME Classic, you can set your preferences to hide games released after a certain year. Then you can choose to move all the games in your roms folder that are not in that list to an orphan roms folder. However, it will prompt you for confirmation with each one.
