VMWare Workstation and XP is freaken slow.

installed VMWare and XP onto machine.

Just trying to reinstall the Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3.



W11 Home 64-bit + Nobara OS / AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core 3.59 GHz / RAM 64 GB

Uh, don't those two games work on Windows 7 and above? You can download patches from battle.net, or fully updated downloadable versions after registering your keys there.

The only one that doesn't really work right is Starcraft.

Starcraft works fine on Windows 7. There's a registry fix for the palette color issue.

I've attached the registry file for 64-bit Windows 7.

Just save the file, remove the .txt extension, and run it.

There's also a version floating around for 32-bit Windows.

Talking about the videos having the colors issue. K-Lite Codec Pack can't even fix the colors. It did fix the videos playing though. K-Lite Codec Pack work better on XP anyway.

//Edit. Look like Diablo 2 videos issue is fix. I found a quick fix for this. Only Warcraft 3 still having videos colors issue.
