I don't know that rom kiddies were ever a serious problem with mame. Even back on the mame.net boards in 2001-2002 their being a pain in the ass was overexaggerated big time.

Fortunately Santeri S. (Gridle) kept old MAME.net forum as clean as possible even though I believe twisty had a much tighter control on MW forums.
Even though posts asking for roms is/was an issue (I didn't care myself about that, but can see why it is an issue to web site owners etc.), my real gripe was always towards the non-stop daily continuation posts of "when cps-2 be emulated?" Those kept appearing every other hour. Even after that post had been answered the same question post would be asked within another hour. When an occasional interesting thread would finally appear on old MAME.net forum, it would be interupted again by some other a**hole asking "When will Cps-2 be emulated?"
It's too bad the forum message software couldn't be set up to not allow any new subscriber to do a first post until after 5 days elapsed when first registering. Sounds 'l33test' but some sites are now that way. One of the sports sites I visit (MLB Pittsburgh Pirates fan site) will allow a user to do a new first post after 10 days has elapsed. I guess the Pirates fan site is trying extremely hard to keep riff-raff at a minimum now that Pirates have become a decent baseball team after 20 seasons of crappy baseball from 1993 to 2012.

Images of Type X family games including SF4 titles have been all over the internet packed with Windows launchers for quite a while, super simple google search, why would kiddies beg for a rom and wait forever for emulation ?
I know people are often uninformed, but we're not in 2001 anymore, the kiddies of today grew up with the internet and been pirating stuff simultaneously to realizing the internet is mostly pr0n.

Probably be a while after Testing, Debugging, you name it. Hell, CAPvsSNK 1 and 2 along with MvsC2 isn't running fully yet. But hopefully will be easier to do.

To be safe go ahead added those new dumps in. For later to mess with. Doesn't matter those will ever get running or not. sf4j, sf4u or what ever. I probably will never get to play the sf5 until I buy it from Steam. sf4j and sf4u I tried in the past. I love the graphics.
MAME isn't about playing the games anyway.

Yeah, I love SF4. Will love when it is fully runnable with no problems. Wont get SFV till Capcom gets it Fixed Fully.

Some of the posters probably were, but Santeri S. (Gridle on old MAME.net site) and twisty (former operator/admin on this site) did a quick clean up (deleting posts) in case there were any cps-2 rom request posters asking for roms on the forums. Haze had set up a dedicated cps-2 forum on RG site back in either 2000 or 2001. Doing that allowed old MAME.net forums to not have to be loaded down with multiple redundant "when will cps-2 be emulated?" posts.
