thank you! quite nice and quick preview of what's new in MAME.
i never watched your videos before, going to check out earlier ones. 
it's good, that you don't skip mahjongs, gamblers and classic handhelds.

Wow, Metal Freezer on the video. It reminds me Arcade Addict, Smitdogg and all of dumping team.

That makes me so happy.
I used to contribute with some hi score codes to support games back in 2000-2001. I think that system is not used anymore.
But with these videos, I can at least contribute with something again.

The original hiscore.dat system was removed a number of years ago. However, just in the past month or two, one of the MAME developers has added a new system that adds it back in using a cleaner, better way! Take a look at the files in "plugins/hiscore" in your MAME directory.

I like the method of how the handheld or tabletop game units are posted in corner of screen to show what each game unit looks like. The All MAME 0.172 games video clip is great because it shows how terrible the audio of Conic Football is. The audio is nowhere near the quality of Mattel Electronics Football.
