Heh. I wonder who. I'll have to see that part of the clip later. It's too bad the presenter isn't able to go further back to early to mid 1970s games and provide some examples of where some games used tapes or film reels. The presenter could have used some of those games as examples just like the lost films segment of the presentation.

I'm all for being able to pay for roms that I want and this guy seems to believe in what he's doing. My problem is the packaging. If, its wrapped in DRM, tied to Steam, etc, I will not buy it. Also, re-releases on modern consoles are nice, but are basically play/throwaway games because they're tied to a consoles that are heavily tied to the internet and tied to the infrastructure designed for those consoles. Consoles have limited lifespans with no guarantee the manufacturer will keep the infrastructure running. History shows they won't.
