How to use WinIPAC V2 Configuration Utility for I-PAC?

Hi
This is a basic question but the "WinIPAC V2 Configuration Utility for I-PAC" page on the Ultimarc site doesn't actually say how to connect to the I-PAC in order to reconfigure.
I have a Raspberry Pi connected and would like to assign a button to the letter 'B'.
Do I download a program to the Raspberry Pi, or to Windows and connect via USB?
If anyone else is using the Raspberry Pi and EmulationStation - am I missing something, or do you need a keyboard connected in order to exit a menu (press B).
Any help gratefully received.

Win. Notice there's versions for Win and Mac, only. You could've tried this without asking and gotten your answer much quicker, you know.
