MAMEUI and hiscore question...
#353634 - 04/28/16 02:52 PM

I setup MAMEUI for my brother and he wants to use the hiscore plugin. So far I haven't been able to get it to work with 0.173. Is it possible to enable this plugin while using MAMEUI?

I did enable plugins and set plugin to hiscore in the mame.ini file.

plugins 1
plugin hiscore

Ah, okay. I was just trying something simple for my brother to use but I will do that. Thanks!

Do you plan on adding plugin support for MAMEUI?

Also, I know HBMAME supports the hiscore plugin, but it doesn't seem that HBMAMEUI supports it. Is that accurate?

MAMEUI is on life-support, I wouldn't expect new features..

If that wasn't obvious before it should be becoming painfully obvious now.

Plugins support is a matter of adding 10 lines of code to MAMEUI. If you're interested I could try to implement in your GITHUB repo. Obviously no GUI support, it would require a lot of work. The user will have only to edit MAME.INI and restart the emulator.

Looks like MAMEUIFX is the new MAMEUI going forward.

No pressure Mamesick
