J-PAC on newer PC not working?

I am in the proces of changing the PC connected to the arcade cabinet through a J-PAC interface. It still has those two PS2 connectors.
I can't get the new PC to work with the J-PAC. Somehow it is preventing my keyboard to function. When connected to the j-PAC I cannot use the keyboard. No key is coming out of it. If I connect it to the PC without the J-PAC it is functioning perfectly. When I reconnect the old PC to the cabinet it is working good too.
The only physical difference I can see is that the new motherboard has a 'shared' PS2 connector. Only one PS2 connector that can be used for both mouse of keyboard. Is it sending the wrong signals to the J-PAC?
Hope someone can help. These kind of things seem to eat away my time (-:

Nah, that shouldn't matter. Try using a usb adapter and looking in device manager if it doesn't auto-rec.
