MAMEUIFX 0.172 released.

Updated to MAME 0.172

* Changelog from 0.171

- Added support for new GAMEINIT.DAT file in the GUI
- Added support for new LUA PLUGINS core feature in the GUI
- Added support for new BGFX SCREEN CHAINS core feature in the GUI
- Added support for AUTOBOOT LUA SCRIPTS core feature in the GUI
- Removed completely SAMPLES SUPPORT for TOAPLAN games due to unresolved re-licensing
- Removed completely HISCORE.DAT support. It's now available in official MAME

NOTE: If installed in a new fresh directory, MAMEUIFX will now automatically create all needed
configuration INI files at the first startup.

Hi Mamesick,

do you know why the games smssgame and spartanxtec are missing in the arcade version
of MAME. I found out that the problem can be in the mame.lst. If you delete the
line 16763 (@source:spartanxtec.cpp) in src\mame\mame.lst the game spartanxtec
(drivers\spartanxtec.cpp) appears again => 30737 driver(s).
But for smssgame (drivers\sms_bootleg.cpp) i don't know what i must change in
mame.lst or scripts\target\mame\arcade.lua.

I noticed that problem just now. I think you should put the two drivers in ARCADE.FLT to have them included in the MAMEARCADE build. Let me know if it worked.

I don't know. Keep out that sms_bootleg.cpp driver then. The problem should be reported to Developers.

Hi Mamesick, when I open a game I get this screen "Invalid joystick map:None" i don't know if it's a bug from the emulator but is the first time it happens, I use a standard gamepad and so far I've never had problems

Yes, it's a last minute bug I catched up when MAMEUIFX 0.172 was already released. To fix it temporarily waiting for the next 0.173 edit manually MAME.INI and change the value of "joystickmap" value from "None" to "auto". Then save and all should be fine now. Sorry.

Thx Mamesick. I was trying to register on the MAMEUIFX forums to report this bug and discovered the same fix you just stated.

I have a handful of 2-way, diagonal, and 4-way games that I like to limit/map digitally. I had to produce an INI for each game and then manually enter each INI to replace 'auto' with the appropriate map and then save.

You can't edit the joystick map using the UI. You have to edit the INI manually and save.

Is there no chance of getting a fixed 0.172 release? This would be ideal.
