What happened to unevenstretch?

So I've finally updated MAME after about 8 months...and the unevenstretch option seems to be completely non-functional. What happened to it?

In what way? It now actually works for all OSes and all renderers instead of being SDL-specific now.

Using Ubuntu 14.04. I have the unevenstretch toggle set to the open bracket key. Pressing it just doesn't do anything. I tried re-mapping it to a different key, same thing. The keepaspect toggle appears to work. Same problem using software, BGFX and OpenGL. :/ Changing the setting in the INI file also does nothing.

Actually, the keepaspect toggle only says "keepaspect disabled" and the other way around. Doesn't actually work.

Blame Calamity
-unevenstretch and -keepaspect are now inside core renderer, and both are fully functional.
The issue is actually with the toggle buttons in the SDL builds, because they still point to the OSD video config instead of the core renderer. I was aware of this, I'll work on a remedy. That said, I'd love these toggles to exist in all OSDs rather than being SDL specific.
