"Super-clean" MAME XML file?

Does there exist a super-clean MAME XML file…one that doesn't overload data fields with multiple pieces of information?
For example, in all the XML files I've found, the title for the ROM "1942" is "1942 (Revision B)". Which, while thorough…I'd rather have the name be just "1942", with the "Revision B" information relegated to, say, a "revision" tag. Another example is "1942 (Williams Electronics license)"…I'd like the licensee info stored in a "licensee" tag.
Does this exist?
Thanks!

No it does not, so far as I know. The XML is generated by the MAME binary, you'd have to apply a (rather large) source patch to MAME to get it to generate XML in the manner in which you speak. It's hard to say, MAME _may_ go that route someday. For now what it has is fine for more users.

We had some guy ask this same identical thing on bannister a few months ago, the upshot is he wanted it so he could avoid doing some processing in his frontend he was writing, and MAMEdev does not do your homework for you so it was shot down.
