If you die at the same time you throw The Queen aka "The Bitch" out of the hatch and you have no lives left, the Continue and highscore screen becomes garbled making it impossible to see what name you enter.
This is not an emulation issue as the same thing happened to me back in 1990-91 at the local hotdog/burger joint.
