Looks kinda fun. The buildings, trees and ground ripped straight from SimCity 2000 are pretty funny. I wonder if the rest of the graphics aren't ripped from other games.
Oh and that gory scene when you crash would be a shock the first time, haha.

If those sprites are ripped from Sim City 2000, then its fair to say this game wasn't coded or released in '96 as the title suggests..... weird.

Funny I had to google to see. Yep those are rip from Sim City 2000.
Someone should document this on MAME.

Anyone know how you actually choose to continue a game in 96 Flag Rally..??? i've tried all the usual methods and im wondering if the continue mode is broken

the START1 hookup is just missing, that's all
it isn't used to start the game, but apparently is used to continue.

Ah thanks for taking the time to look at it we suspected something was missing in the dips which caused the continue mode to not operate.
