Game endings that are unexpected

In at least 2 SEGA games I can think of - the endings had some self-aware ending.
Altered Beast turned out to be a movie with everyone in costumes (no Greek Gods and mythology at work here folks).
And Golden Axe was a video game where all the characters jumped out of the arcade machine, as a chase ensued into the streets of Japan.
Any other games with such (odd) endings?
I'm thinking mostly of arcade games, but I guess console games can be mentioned too.

Dudley's ending in Street Fighter III: New Generation
That one joke ending in the original Darius where the main character is woken up by his mother cause he's late for school.

That's only when you're racing the El Camino with the beer tap gearshift & mini-golf carpet in the bed right?

You made me remember the post credits video from the first Silent Hill. It could be considered proof they didn't expect to develop more than one game.
The team behind Altered Beast and similar games used to do that in their works. Just looking at "Alien Storm" ending like a music video clip makes it a bit weird.
But I can't think of anything except console games where endings were all but a dream like Super Mario Bros. 2 or the one in Karateka if you defeat the boss and advance to the princess without dropping your guard.
