Hello,
I couple months ago, I got a hold of the .161 roms and chd files from archive.org
In the past, I used MAMEIU, but my dedicated mame pc is a 32 bit machine and the .161 MAMEIU is 64 bit.
My question is, is there a similar front end like MAMEIU, that lets you be able to just type out the beginning of game titles and yield those results.
I tried MaLA, and it's just a never ending list.
Also, I know the manual way of adding chd files, but how do I go about adding all the .161 chds to the .161 roms in one fell swoop?

You can get the 32 bit version here:
http://www.progettosnaps.net/mameui/
The chds can go in the same folder you have the roms in. They just need to go into a sub-folder.
C:\Mame\Roms\"chd gamename folder"
You probably should also get http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/
for a rom manager especially if you want to update to the newest version of MAME. (soon to be 169)
