That first time you apply black paint to the ceiling, you're thinking... there's no turning back now.
So I was doing the painting.
Gatinha was sewing the covers on the seating.
The kids were doing their best to cause as much expensive damage as they could in as little time as possible.
So we are all doing our part.
I used to laugh at how many different kinds of "white" there are at the paint store... until I went to buy black.
Black
Pepper Corn
Night Club
Stealth
Celestial
Jet Black
Limousine
Secret Society
Off Broadway
Broadway
Theater Black
Charcoal
Cat Walk
Totally Black

Spade Black

Black Space

And that's just one brand: Behr.
Start busting out other brand swatches, and its CRAZY! They're all just black as shit.
One swatch is all you need: Black as Shit.
And all that black... takes a long time to make a can of. The pigment just pours... and pours... and pours. I went to look at some other supplies, and came back later, and the guy just pointed to the pigment machine and was like "It's still pouring ink." And it was. Like ink diarrhea in a can. Pray no one dumps this can on the carpet. It will be a superfund clean up spill of biblical proportions.

Found a schwing Boba Fett neon sculpture for the Homey Chii-ater, but what used to be a list of about $120 is now, no doubt due ot the recent Star Wars release, jacked up to an outrageonamous $299.
Googled a little harder and found those fucker, yeah they're fuckers, for $25.
Sure you gotta roll the dice on a Malaysian source to get it for that price, but to save $275 fat ones (yeah, single dollar bills are fat ones, pony), I fingered it was worth the dice. I've gotten PRETTY cockney with my Asian sources lately, finding all kinds of crap for dirt and shiny beads, and I've been gettin the stuff too, so... I'll hollar if thias one works out. Either way, the Fett will make a noice addition to the Homey Chii-ater wall.
And with the $275 I saved, I can go out and buy nothing more, because I didn't save anything, you dumbshit, I just spent less. Who taught you economics?

Shouldn't matter what black it is as long as it's matte. Flat looks ghetto. Gloss only looks good when there's light, when you're wanting to see something, and in this case, you don't.
Same for the light bling. That goes somewhere else.
