Launching 7z without softwarelist
#345252 - 09/17/15 04:51 PM

Hello
Im trying to launch my consolegames through a frontend without the use of softwarelists, so i can keep my original romnames and extension, and load it as is. Running games this way zip works fine, and if i test a game with mame naming and 7z extension it also works..
But when i try :

Code:

C:\Users\username\Desktop\mame0165b_64bit\"mame64.exe" coleco -cart "C:\Users\username\Desktop\mame0165b_64bit\roms\coleco\Amazing Bumpman (USA).7z" -rompath "C:\Users\username\Desktop\mame0165b_64bit\roms\coleco;C:\Users\username\Desktop\mame0165b_64bit\roms" -nowindow -nohlsl_enable -nogl_glsl -video d3d -artwork_crop -nouse_bezels -use_overlays -use_backdrops -nouse_cpanels -nouse_marquees -nofilter -skip_gameinfo

It doesnt work, even though using zip instead it works..
Any tips what i should change to make it work?
(mame64.exe coleco amazing, works when in 7z running from the mamefolder)

Nothing you can do if not softlist loading unfortunately.

you can try my scripts for launching some systems' CD-based software in 7z:
