Mame LaserDisc Games & HLSL filters not compatible?

I'm sure there is an easy explanation....
Why is it whenever I run any of the emulated LaserDisc games in Mame with HLSL filters on, the filter obviously mucks with the ability for MAME to display the game images properly and the game doesn't run correctly? The video and sound is distorted/choppy until I disable HLSL filters specifically for those games.
Examples: Firefox, UsVsThem, Cliffhanger, CubeQuest, Cobra Command, & MACH3.

Reason is the MAME laserdisc video player doesn't support the HLSL and GLSL/OpenGL. The Dev's didn't even make a work around this. So when you enable the HLSL or GLSL/OpenGL it gonna black the video out.
Use those on the non laser games.

I think OG fixed it for OpenGL at least.

Is it me, but my Firefox is not showing any video. Not sure if its my version of the CHD or if its anything else.
I'm using Mame64 v0.165
Update
Sorted. I managed to get video as I was missing at-6-1_a.bin But when I run Cmpro and its says its not needed?
Is this correct?
Cheers

Even in GL I don't think it cooperates with shaders. Or it shouldn't anyway, because we're eventually going to want to force a YUV to RGB shader on it instead.

Thanks for that info. I figured it was because the video wasn't playing nice with the filters, but I just wanted to be sure.
