Hi guys,
Maybe it's a strange request but is i possible for the program to scale when using very large resolution screens? For instance, this is how Clrmame looks in my laptop (Asus UX305) with 3200x1800:

Well..I didn't miss it....well...someone has to donate a 4k screen and hdmi2.0 gfxcard..cough cough ;-)
Well...I'm only running it on 2 screens with full hd resolution...and the fixed bitmaps look fine for me...don't forget cmpro is now running it its 18th year...and I don't think I will change the current version to something fully scaleable... Wonder how the scanner window looks on your system... if it's only the buttons I guess someone has to provide good looking higher resolution ones and I will see what I can do...

So I guess you complain about: - stats window - main 6 buttons bar...
I guess for stats I use some monospace font (just to have it someway ordered and aligned)....have to check if sizing can be changed or whatever is useful there..
...for the button bars...well, as far as I remember they are fixed to some pixel width and height....shouldn't be a problem to change that but the current bitmaps will be strechted then....which will look awful I guess....
Time for some high resolution bitmaps ;-)

Maybe also time to get rid of that WIN98 era default font in your GUI dialogs and use a Clear Type one, like for example Tahoma or Microsoft Sans Serif.
Just a suggestion, not a complaint.

erm...it already uses Microsoft Sans Serif everywhere...
Except the stats screen where it switches to a monospace one for alignment reasons. For the scan results tree you can specify a font yourself (e.g. if the default one does not support all the utf8 characters which your currently loaded database require)
But yes of course..why not switch to something more modern...sure...if I don't have a job, a wife and 2 boys which steal 99% of my free time ;-)
Regarding the button bar....we're now living in a world of flat apps tiles..so maybe I change it to an UTF8 character plus and underline caption...hmm..nah...we'll see

Another way could be to just have the option to show the GUI/bitmaps in 200%, like e.g. WinAmp's Ctrl-D which just doubles the pixels, i.e. everything gets magnified and shows twice as big. Crystal DiskMark has a similar zoom feature, although it offers somewhat more variable zoom and doesn't really have any bitmaps.
I btw so prefer old style GUI's compared to the flat look of today where you sometimes even can't see what is a button or not...
