[solved] ISO to USB problem

So I have this five-ish gb ISO that [will not] unpack. I have a 32gb flash stick (only four and less below that; I have no DVDs), and thought I'd use ISOtoUSB to burn it to. Except it keeps getting stuck about a fifth into things. Just stops responding. What can I do here?

Mount the ISO on a virtual drive and copy the files to the USB stick by hand.

I did that. I actually had to because it was originally formatted as 119mb.....although the app formats when it writes as well - it says so in the little window.

Ah, thanks. I'd forgotten that kind of thing. I didn't need them on the stick, though, unless it needed to remain in ISO format; I copied them to my hard drive.

http://www.7-zip.org/
7zip opens ISO files as if they were ZIP files.

Despite not being updated in five years, I (almost) exclusively use 7-zip. It kept freezing with this one. Anyways, Sune helped me out.

Eh? There's a beta version that updates pretty regularly IIRC.

Beta implies unstable. If they can't release something they're prepared to say is stable, you should understand why people don't want to use it. Particularly with an archiving utility where data integrity is important.
