Nice work as always, AntoPISA. Any chance future releases will be consolidated (or at least as an option)? This would make managing them a TON easier for obvious reasons.

Most of the people I've talked to like that the MAME and MESS snaps are kept separate. It gives people the option to download the snaps they want instead of forcing them to download snaps they'll never utilize.
But if their availability is offered both ways, separate and combined, then that's fine.

Great! Thanks. I can imagine some people may not realize the benefits right now until they start using frontends that cater to the newer consolidated mame builds etc.; but certainly should be obvious in the near future. In the meantime, it should be a big help to those of us who use such frontends now - and should make your life a little easier too I think?

Personnally i'm with Shoegazr on this one... I would prefer at least a merged dat...

Unrelated question: will you still keep the MESS only category ini (category_home.ini) ?
I've added support for that file in my frontend Emu Loader, to separate/filter arcade and non-arcade machines (mame -listxml output).

The videosnaps page is cool. I'm going to write the code to support them in MAMEUIFX during this weekend. I guess they are available for PARENTS only...
